My Vision:
Recruit Sales Tax generating businesses with:
Incentives
A General Plan with substantial commercial/business zones
Economic Development Director
Increase City services which can only be done by increasing sales tax revenue
Police and Fire
Code Enforcement
Slow the approval of more new housing communities
Let the commercial catch up
More than 10,000 houses have been approved and not yet built
New houses cost more money to service than the taxes they generate
Promote and increase tourism dollars
Expand on the mineral waters to include health and wellness
Expand and utilize the trails leading to the BLM land to the north
Fix the I-10 overpass mess at Palm Drive, Indian and Date Palm NOW!
Pressure Caltrans, CVAG, County of Riverside - get the job done
Encourage the use of green energy especially solar
Encourage infill development of homes that are energy friendly and include solar
